Knowledge management
MOVISIE is a knowledge institute with a strong focus on sharing knowledge. The responsibility for the relevance and adequateness of this knowledge is shared by all, both within the five thematic areas and in the units responsible for quality issues and knowledge management.
However, the knowledge management unit is primarily responsible for creating an effective infrastructure for this exchange of knowledge, both within the organisation and with a multitude of national and international partners. Within this area we distinguish three major priorities:
- The collection of a body of knowledge that covers all five thematic areas of work, in digital and hard copy formats, that is available and accessible to all users through a variety of channels
- The development and support of strategic networks aimed at sharing knowledge and expertise within specific areas of work, allowing for focus and specialisation and offering opportunities for digital exchange and face-to-face encounters and debate
- Access to the knowledge base of MOVISIE and others by means of an interactive internet strategy that incorporates both lessons learned, existing activities and plans for the future.
