Marketplace toolkit
The Marketplace is an event in which social welfare needs are addressed: the supply and demand of voluntary work in the broadest sense of the word. The objective is that profit and non-profit organisations meet together in an informal atmosphere to see where the ‘supply’ of one party can be matched with the ‘demand’ of another.

Eight steps model in practice

The Eight Steps Model for social support of homeless aimed at their reintegration into the society is developed by MOVISIE (Netherlands Institute of Care and Welfare, NIZW) through comparing and streamlining the available national methodologies to support homeless citizens. During the years 2002 till 2005 the method has been implemented in an organization for the homeless in Kiev, Ukraine. Their manual has been published to inspire other homeless organizations in Europe.

Sexual diversity and local government
The MOVISIE Expertise Centre on LGBT Issues particularly focuses at municipalities. We have developed a toolkit with several products for local governments who wish to improve the environment of LGBT citizens. There are a number of items in the toolkit. This brochure is an adaptation of the Local Sexual Diversity Policy Manual.

Relieving the burden of family care
The project Relieving the burden of family care is an initiative of MOVISIE, the Netherlands centre for social development, and Mezzo, the Dutch National Association for Carers and Voluntary Help. In this project instruments were developed to support volunteers who help family carers. They were tested by organizations for volunteer care and described in a series of guides.
