Factsheet LGBT-friendly cities
The following publication contains knowledge, tools, and tips for Rainbow Cities all over Europe (the publication is in English). These cities play a key role in creating and promoting social acceptance and safety for LGBT people. Not only within their own municipality, but also in setting an example and show their ambition of inclusion to neighboring cities and regions.
The Rainbow Cities network is an informal network consisting of policy makers from large European cities working actively to promote the inclusion of their LGBT citizens. The main goals of this network are to exchange good practices, policy initiatives, and complicated dilemmas. The network is coordinated by the municipality of Amsterdam and Movisie.
